Code Of Honor

We have become a country of political correctness, participation trophies, instant millionaires, and one-pill wonders always looking for the easy way out. We avoid conflict and encourage mediocrity. We expect less of ourselves and others everyday. We have become entitled. How did we get here and how do we get our edge back?

Attack life and all of its challenges, obstacles, and adversity – stare it down with passion, intensity, aggression, determination and strength. Get angry and use this to affect change and create your competitive edge. No apologies necessary. It is acceptable to use your anger to overcome mediocrity, fear and doubt. The most successful people are steadfast and resolute in the pursuit of their goals. They possess a never-quit attitude and will get up when knocked down, every time. The excerpt below has been modified from the Navy Seal Code of Honor. It is at the heart of Angerwear, and the model for what can be accomplished if anger is used appropriately.

Code of Honor

β€œIn times of battle or uncertainty there is a special breed of warrior ready to answer the call; a common person with an uncommon desire to succeed. I am that person. My loyalty to Team is beyond reproach. I humbly serve as a guardian to my fellow teammates always ready to defend those who are unable to defend themselves. I do not advertise the nature of my work, nor seek recognition for my actions.

I serve with honor at the school, on the field or in the ring, and at the office. The ability to control my emotions and my actions, regardless of circumstance, sets me apart from other people.Uncompromising integrity is my standard. My character and honor are steadfast. My word is my bond. I expect to lead and to be led. In the absence of orders I will take charge, lead my teammates and reach our goals. I lead by example in all situations. I will never quit. I persevere and thrive on adversity. My team expects me to be physically harder and mentally stronger than my opponents. If knocked down, I will get back up, every time. I will draw on every remaining ounce of strength to protect my teammates and to accomplish our mission. I am never out of the fight.

We demand discipline. We expect innovation. The success of my teammates and the success of our mission depend on me – my technical skill, my proficiency, and attention to detail. My training is never complete. I train for victory and fight to win. The execution of my duties will be swift and violent when required yet guided by the very principles that I serve to defend. I will not fail.”
