By: Sara Cramer The stage is set for March 20 in Dusseldorf, Germany, where all eyes will be on American heavyweight -- and one of Angerwear’s most prominent representatives -- Eddie Chambers. Just 9 days shy of his 28th birthday, Chambers finally will face notable boxer Wladimir Klitschko in his 1st ever title bout. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, “Fast Eddie” turned pro at the age of 18 and with around 80 amateur fights to his credit. Staying under the radar until 2005, Chambers stepped into the spotlight with unanimous wins against clubfighters Ross Puritty and Robert Hawkins. An impressive career has followed, with wins against 15-0 Derek Rossy, Dominic Gunn, and Calvin Brock. With more wins against Raphael Butler, Samuel Peter and Alexander Povetkin, Chambers became the mandatory challenger for current WBO heavyweight titleholder Klitschko. The March 20th title fight is sure to thrill. While this is Chambers first dance on the big stage, the young boxer has built an impressive professional resume, with 36 wins including 18 by KO, and 0 draws. His only loss, to Alexander Povetkin, came way back in 2007. Since then, the young boxer has had plenty of training under Rob Murray to work out the kinks. The imposing Klitschko may have impressive strength and a 6 year dominance of the heavy weight division, but Chambers more than makes up for that with passion, intensity, aggression, determination, strength - making him a perfect fit for sponsor Angerwear. The belief that anger gives a competitive advantage in sports and life will truly be demonstrated in Angerwear’s rising star Eddie Chambers, and the world will be watching and cheering him to a title victory.
