By: Kelly Brinkman Top American heavyweight Eddie Chambers is set to take on Ukrainian giant and WBO/IBF World Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday night, March 20th, in Dusseldorf, Germany. "Fast Eddie" enters the bout with a 35-1 record which includes 18 knock-outs. Current champ, "Dr. Steelhammer" Klitschko, holds an even more impressive 53-3 record, with 47 knock-outs. With a fight this important, against such an experienced and successful opponent, some boxers may question their readiness. On the contrary, Chambers feels more than ready for the challenge. "I feel great, both physically and mentally! I'm in the best shape of my career. We've done a lot of things in camp to prepare." Chambers has put his body through punishing work-outs, but has taken a comprehensive approach to his preparation by also studying some of Klitschko's previous fights to gain an edge. Things he has seen other fighters do in losses to "Dr. Steelhammer," he has accounted for to improve his chance for success. "I use different angles, different movement and work my jab and stay behind my jab and will not allow Vladimir to keep his distance all day and pound away." As for what fans can expect of the highly-touted championship fight, and more specifically "Fast Eddie," this is his take on the matter. A lot of speed; a lot of ability and movement and an overall work rate that it takes to be the heavyweight champion of the world on the night of March 20th. This will be the first world title opportunity for Chambers, but his third time fighting in Germany. On his most recent trip (July 2009), "Fast Eddie" bested the then undefeated Ukrainian Alexander Dimitrenko in Hamberg.
